Fair Street Guest House comprises a main house and a separate guest house, both furnished with antiques. These 1870 and 1880 Victorian homes are tucked away in a garden overlooking Newport Bay and St. Mary's Church, the church where John F. Kennedy married in 1953. The inn is located one block from Thames Street and two blocks from Newport Yachting Center.
The inn features 12-foot ceilings, original moldings, fireplaces, and parquet floors. Oil paintings, watercolors, and etchings, including some artwork of the innkeeper, are showcased throughout the guest house. Sun porches overlook the gardens, pond, and waterfall. Wireless Internet access is complimentary throughout. Parking is complimentary.
